côte&ciel Fall/Winter ‘24 Pop-Up at KaDeWe, Berlin
From now until mid-January, côte&ciel is hosting a pop-up installation on the 1st Floor of KaDeWe, Berlin, where you are invited to physically and emotionally immerse yourself in the brand’s Fall/Winter ’24 collection.
KaDeWe opened its doors in 1907 and has constantly reinvented itself, adapting to changes in consumer tastes and market trends. At its core, the department store is a cacophony of tradition and modernity, combining future-thinking labels like côte&ciel with luxury fashion houses like Gucci and Givenchy to provide a richer buyer experience.
Located on the first floor, in the men’s accessories area, the installation hosts new styles for Fall/Winter ‘24, like the DALA and SAVA, a bold and architectural style that elaborates on côte&ciel’s philosophy. It also features silhouettes from the core collection, including the ISAR, ORNE, and ADDA, which are seasonally reinvented using new fabrications and elevated detailing.

Balzer Balzer, the Berlin-based creative studio founded in 2019 by three brothers, took a site-specific approach to the brief, similar to their work on côte&ciel’s Paris flagship. The pop-up's aesthetic is comparable to that of the Paris store, contextualising côte&ciel and its products and creating a sense of synergy. Industrial, architectural, and technical elements are suitably contrasted by organic and natural shapes.
By framing the coastal wall where the product is displayed with a carpet reminiscent of a body of water, the focus is rightfully drawn to the products. All the design elements seemingly flow to the centre of the installation and the expanse that exists between the ‘Coast and the Sky’.
Bags hang freely in the void between the floor and ceiling, suspended from purpose-built industrial-grade metal shelving, while petite accessories like the Eyewear Pouch and the LetGo Keychain are encased in custom-built containers. The artworks on the wall, which depict visuals from the seasonal campaign, provide the necessary context for the products' existence.
Whether you are a Berlin native or are travelling there during the pop-up period, côte&ciel invites you to attend this installation.
