côte&ciel × NinepointNine: Reach Beyond Limits
côte&ciel introduces a new collaboration with NinepointNine, exploring movement, restraint, and the quiet precision of everyday carry. Rooted in the idea of ‘Reach Beyond Limits’, the project reframes performance not as spectacle, but as continuity, the repeated motions that shape how we move through cities, transitions, and daily routines.
Built around two of côte&ciel’s most recognisable silhouettes, the SARU and ISARAU, the collection balances structural clarity with material sensitivity. A subtly crinkled water-resistant nylon maintains its sculptural form regardless of volume, while reflective stitching traces the construction with quiet intention, revealing function through light and movement.
The accompanying editorial continues this dialogue between motion and control. Figures appear suspended mid-transition, their gestures suggesting movement held within stillness. Rather than exaggerating performance, the series focuses on the subtle interactions between body, object, and environment, a reflection of how the collection is designed to exist within everyday life.
