The collection takes us on a journey along a road from wilderness to metropolis. We pass through the dusty desert, meander up mountains and emerge into wide open countryside. As we approach the suburbs, the scenery becomes industrial. The road finally reaches the city, where skyscrapers soar above us.
The wheel is considered by many to be among the most significant inventions of humankind. Wheeled vehicles enable long-distance land travel, construction of infrastructure and development of urban areas. Imposing heavy-duty tyres form the set design of the lookbook, symbolising the history of the human journey from nature to city.
